Daniele De Vecchi and Andreas Salentinig, together with 6 other PhD students of the PhD Course in Electronic, Electrical and Computer Science, defended their PhD thesis in front of an examination board of 6 members.
Their defence was successful and the Board granted them the PhD title.

Daniele De Vecchi, post-doc at our lab, is in Brussels today and tomorrow to present his results from the MyGeoss grant that he won after a successful application to the third MyGeoss competitive call for proposals, submitted when he was still PhD student here.
MYGEOSS is a two-year project (2015-16) by the European Commission to develop GEOSS-based (Global Earth Observation System of Systems) smart Internet applications informing European citizens on the changes affecting their local environment.
