Short bio

Anna Vizziello is a Research Fellow at the University of Pavia, Italy. She received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Pavia, Italy. She has been selected as expert by the European Commission and since 2013 she collaborates as referee for the peer evaluation process of the proposals.

She has been a visiting researcher in several universities. In summer 2016 and winter 2011 she was at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts; from 2009 to 2010 she was at Broadband Wireless Networking Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz; and in summer 2009 and 2010 she was at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. From 2007 to 2009 she was working as researcher at European Centre for Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering (EUCENTRE), working on long range transmissions in emergency situations. During summer 2013 she has been part of the faculty of the IRIS summer school in Greece teaching a course on "Cognitive Radio Networks".

She is a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for several conferences.
